Sean Foley is an actor, writer and director. Most recently he has directed the West End productions of WHAT THE BUTLER SAW, and the five-times Olivier nominated production of THE LADYKILLERS (including nomination for Best Director). He also directed Kenneth Branagh and Rob Brydon in his own adaption of Francis Veber’s farce THE PAINKILLER (Lyric Theatre, Belfast). He co-founded the right size, writing and acting in over ten original comedies for the theatre including the Olivier Award winning THE PLAY WHAT I WROTE (Best Comedy 2002), for which Sean also received an Olivier Award nomination for Best Actor, and DO YOU COME HERE OFTEN (Best Entertainment 1999). He is currently developing PERFECT NONSENSE, a theatrical adaptation of P.G. Wodehouse’s Jeeves and Wooster, and will make his RSC debut, adapting and directing Thomas Middleton’s A MAD WORLD MY MASTERS.
